Why Ynone Exists
Born Inside The condition. Built to change it.
Our Visions
Transforming the management of lymphoedema into a continuous wellness journey, where every person is an active player in their own therapy and every healthcare professional has meaningful data to create the treatments of tomorrow.
THE STORY
From a personal experience to a European
mission.
Ynone is an early-stage startup that has not yet been incorporated; it is a project launched by founder Mara Sorretino, a caregiver for a patient with lymphedema. After years of managing a chronic condition using paper forms, scattered appointments, and no digital support between visits, Mara decided to create the tool she wished she had had at her disposal.
We are currently developing the app with the support of the Vision Health Pioneers incubator in Berlin—an accelerator for startups in the digital health sector—and it is now backed by Startup Incubator Berlin and EXIST Women.
Today, Ynone is validated by four clinical partners and has founded the first support group for children with primary lymphedema and their families, called “Lylife.” Lylife is part of Lymphverein.eV, a community that spans all ages.
